September meeting

On September 11th the Wine Appreciation Group met at a member’s house where the theme of the evening was wine made from a single grape, so no blends.

The wines they tasted were from France, Italy and Argentine and were enjoyed by all.

The unusual grapes were Torrentes, Vespaiolo, Marzemino and Carignan. This was followed by some bread and cheeses to complement the wines.
